In short: A fantastic, friendly race with a difference
In full: Any pre-race doubts evaporated as the race started, some lovely scenery, especialy along the banks of the Severn estuary. Mostly flat with some good canal paths and an interesting path through some maize. I even enjoyed the extra kilometer, and the finish prize of a fluffy yellow duckling that squeaks was the perfect end to the run. Oh yes, the pink plastic flamingoes were also a nice touch.

In short: Even the weather couldn't spoil this race.
In full: Fantastic Herefordshire / Gloucestershire scenery, lots of freindly marshals, nice village race atmosphere, a good old fashioned race.

In short: A truly fantastic race
In full: This must be one of the best races in the country, fantastic scenery, and a race that makes you feel good. You earn your finishers prize in this one, which is no bad thing.

In short: A real half marathon
In full: Lovely scenery, the inclines were all do-able, and all downhill from nine miles. One of the best half marathons, with a little work could be the best.
