In short: Organisation wasn;t great, no replies to any queries sent in.
In full: Very little first aid cover on the course, people were collasping on the side of the road due to the heat and weren't getting the attention they needed. The drinks situation wasn't great, and wasn't what was advertised, Water was supposed to have a sports cap, which was essential in thea heat so that you could carry the bottle with you, but no cap so people were taking a sip and then throwing away the bottle. Lucozade was supposed to be orange, but at times there was every flavour but, and I hadn't trained with the other flacours so was unwilling to try something new. The road surface is very bad and was full of holes and there were many open drains with no warning of them appearing, Marhsalls were ok, but they weren't giving out the correct information, one marshall after the 25 mile marker was telling everyone there was still three miles to go, this can be very sole disteroying if you didn't see the markers. Lastly I made the course nearer 27.5 miles, I felt it wss very long. I won't be doing this one again.

In short: Average Race. Online entrants were penalised for entering online
In full: One to be aware of nest year, was unaware when I entered online that I would have to collect my number on the day, this is very unusual as I have entered loads of races online and this is the first time, I have been asked to collect the number on the day. Entering online is supposed to make things easier and having to collect your number on the day isn't easy. It was lucky that there were no entries on the day otherwise this would have been even more confusing.

Course was good and clearly marked throughout on a Traffic Free course, marshalls were there but most didn't say anything or direct you. KM markers were all there. One slight hill at 7k other than that the rest of the race was undualting.

My Garmin 301 made the course 10.2KM, this doesn't mean the course was over length but just mentioning it.

Last little quirk is that the cars are parked in a field which cars the course crosses so cars can't leave until all runners are home, this can delay you leaving for some time.

I received no email or race information as I entered online so was unaware of what was expected this would have been more of a problem if this was my first race.

I might do this one again.
