In short: Best way to have massive fun whilst vertical.
In full: Never has so much fun been had by so many in so short a time. Support, organisation, catering, facilities and free beer all exemplary.

In short: Horrible day, mud must have been imported for special sections. Many helpful but frozen marshals.

In short: Change of course managed superbly. Helped by fantastic (cold) weather. Lots of cheery but cold marshalls who deserve a medal. Xmas pudding fo all and spot prizes - how do they do it?

In short: As ever, a very well organised and challenging race. Only criticism - leaving the water supply at the end to 2 small girls meant raging thirst just when you need water most.

In short: A real challenge, but not as gruesome as it first looks.
In full: A real challenge, but not as gruesome as it first looks. Having it start and finish at the local leisure centre is a great idea. Locals come out to cheer us along. Not the prettiest part of the universe, but what the heck. Shame it's under threat because of the over protective local authority. Many thanks to Chris, Tim and the Somer team.

In short: Well worth the extra 10K event this year, lots of thanks
In full: Even though it's an aggressive course, I was still only 30 odd seconds off my PB.

In short: Takes more than the average amount of effort - so not an avarage race! Much better.
In full: Too many half marathons are either far too crowded or are just a flat road slog. You couldn't make those mistakes with this one! Great feeling of achievement - the hills are tough, but quite do-able. You get far more of a buzz from this than many, many others. I'll be back again for my 5th.
