In short: Chester is becoming one of most runner friendly races.
In full: Smooth and silky organisation once again. Can't fault anything, the crowd was brilliant and the course with the town hall finish amazing. I would definitely recommend this one, it is getting bigger and better each year.

In short: Excellent organisation, support and great course. Loved the finish at the town hall
In full: Really enjoyed my first attempt at a half marathon and am still buzzing. A great event, the organisation was flawless and the support was brilliant. The locals were out in force and the finish at the town hall was amazing (spurred up that nasty hill at the end by the 400m to go sign and the massive crown in the run in. Will be back next year.

In short: Wet, Muddy, challenging but loved it.
In full: Second year in a row I have done this one and liked it even better this time. It poured with rain, it was muddy, wet, wild and windy but amazing fun. Glad that the father christmas who went went slip sliding along on his backside by the bridge was ok, sorry for laughing but it was funny :-). Will be back next year.

In short: Small, enjoyable, well organised race with village fate atmosphere.
In full: Really enjoyed my local club race which as normal was well organised and ran like clockwork. A good mix of club runners, unattached locals and beginners. The fun run afterwards was excellent too.

In short: Very pleasant evening run in the sun.
In full: Really enjoyed the run but was a bit disappointed that it was 5.13 miles rather than 5 miles exactly. The extra .13 meant I did not reach my target of under 45 mins which I would have done if it had been exact or close enough. That said everything else was spot on. Will be back next year.
