In short: Loved every minute. In full: Despite some of the previous comments, I think this is a definite PB course...... as long as you've trained for the hills that is (down as well as up) and run sensibly.
I've ran this twice and had significant PBs both times - also won a prize this year so very happy.
Was on the clapped out Fort Augustus bus but the pre race hill walk seemed to warm me up and calm my nerves so not so bad in the end. Date of review: October 6, 2009

In short: Running heaven In full: A huge favourite of mine - had a place for London this year but having done both before decided that Lochaber was the one for me.
Great organisation, beautiful course (even better this year with the new start/finish) and perfect weather - what more could you possibly ask for. Date of review: April 25, 2006

In short: Fast, well organised and friendly. In full: I've done this race the last 2 years and have ran pb's both times - even with the brutal wind this year. Gentle uphill for first 6-7k then a very fast finish.
Well organised and friendly with a fantastic post race spread laid on and an almost as many prizes as tickets raffle.
Definitely one to do year after year.
Well done Peterhead RC. Date of review: October 19, 2005
