In short: Some good, some poor
In full: The course measuring mistake was not acceptable for a race this expensive but at least they've held their hands up and apologised. Baggage area understaffed, totally pointless near empty goody bag but many plusses as well.

In short: Friendly and welcoming despite the weather!
In full: I really enjoy this race despite the challenging finish. Many, many thanks to all those cheery marshalls and helpers who stood out in the pouring rain to encourage us round.

In short: Challenging but a great community event
In full: My first time at this event after reading good reports - it won't be my last. A testing course but nothing too severe, although that long final hill tests the resolve. Friendly and efficient stewarding and a good arena finish. Even the weather was ideal. Well done to the organisers

In short: Not as flat as you might expect but well organised
In full: My second time at Silverstone and again it was well organised despite the ongoing work on the circuit. My watch also made the course a little long (13.31) but I guess with that number of competitors, it's not always possible to stick to the racing line. And as for the headwind in the last mile..............

In short: Friendly and well-organised with some challenging gradients in the last mile
In full: Pleasant parkland route with a bit of a sting in the tail. The free soup and cheese roll at the finish line was a nice touch and very welcome on a chilly day. Will I be back, oh yes!

In short: Great fun
In full: Personal worst for me but it was good fun and I'd do it again (hopefully better). Well done to the organisers, marshalls and boat helpers

In short: A well organised and challenging run with a friendly atmosphere
In full: Tough on the uphill sections in the heat but a well organised event, quiet country lanes and much-needed water stations. Not many people en route but they were enthusiastic and supportive. Well done Northbrook! Will definitely be back.

In short: Great scenery, friendly marshalls, well-spaced water stations
In full: As others have said, the start & finish could be improved but overall a really enjoyable run. A challenging last few miles but that was largely down to poor preparation!
