In short: A great race, as usual fantastic organisation.
In full: One of the best races that I enter. Better than last year due to not getting lost but just a bit too much of the tarmac this year. The real heroes are the marshalls who have to endure the cold and wet for longer than the competitors. One marshall remembered me for consecutive way points and had the decentsey to enquire about my bad leg!! A really big thanks to Paul Pickford who offered my some paracetamol and support when he could see that I was in pain, thanks Paul and good luck in the Sahara. Thanks to PJC for another great event, as usual great cakes etc. What a treat to have hot soup!!!

In short: Another very well organised race by Gosport. Great marshalls, plenty of mile markers and water stations. Another PB for me at Gosport
In full: The Gosport race is always well organised and supported, always good to end the year on a high and Gosport always seems to provide good weather, thanks Gosport Runners

In short: OK, but poor organisation, late start due to water delayed, why wait until the day of the race for the water to be delivered
In full: Poor communication when contacting race office, I know that the organisers were volunteers but there is no need for impolite replies to email queries. The website was very late being updated and race packs late arriving. However it seemed OKish on the day, great medal! Shame that my official time was some 30 seconds longer than my stopwatch, can a watch reaaly loose 30 seconds during 3 1/4 hours. The drinks stations were well organised and good to have proper pouches of sportsdrinks. Not too sure if I would do it again, if it was to be run again.

In short: Good race, hill at 14 and 20 miles a bit grim, the best distance marking I have seen. Support fair, but it was Mothers day and the day after the clocks went forward!!

In short: Great race, superb marshalls, loads of mud, fruit cake, mars bars and fun
In full: This was a great race, shame about the missing marker and fog. I ran an extra 2 miles but never mind. This is one race that I will be back for, the friendliness is second to none. The marshalls deserve a medal just for being there. What other race gives you sweets, fruit cake, mars bars, soup, rolls hot choc and has someone to undo your shoe laces?? Great value for £7. Thanks Portsmouth Joggers
