In short: a little gem of a race In full: I am SO glad this didnt clash with liverpool this year Top organisation with parking snd enough toilets and an organised covered village Totally closed roads, well stocked aid stations(properly laid out in a line with a bin at the end to get rid of rubbish-shame some of the runners chose to ignore that) You can get a good time here but even a six hour marathoner got a big cheer acrosss the finish line!
Loved the racecourse finish, love the medal and the long sleeved techy T shirt Will be back!
thank you Andy and Chris! Date of review: October 10, 2012
In short: a little gem of a race.Wales should be proud! In full: fantastic pre and post race venue, , and a hot meal at the ens(whicjh i have never eaten) Scenery gorgeous lots of water and energy stations bloody horrible hills-but then i dont do hills One of my all time favourite marathons If you are over 5 hours you might get a little lonely at the back though Date of review: June 8, 2008
In short: this keeps improving with each year i do it In full: Undulating course, and the two loops can be tough.I didnt mind the Greenway at all! Great to see energy drinks now being included as well as chip timing
In short: Potentially a good race, but organisational glitches ratehr spoiled it In full: Unmanned water station at mile 3-crosooing a main road and having to pull own water out of a plastic pack wasnt the best. The finish was a bit of a shambles too, much crossing of roads and dodging cars Date of review: June 8, 2008
