In short: Great course, great crowd, well organised
In full: Not usually a fan of courses with repeate delements but though this was a really great race. Nice easy start through the park and loved running by the docks. One of the few races where I've actually taken much interest in the surroundings and scenery was great (minus the building works). Parliament hill a bit of a trial but without it there'd hardly be anything in the way of hills at all. A PB but only dissapointment was just slightly outside a 7min/mile time.

In short: Forget the "twists and turns" you get to run through an INTERNATIONAL STADIUM and me the Lord Mayor!
In full: Not sure what all the fuss about the twists and turns is about. It is three laps so you know where the bends are. So if your looking where your going you can position yourself to take the corner wider.
Weather was bit cool but alright when got going. No real complaints-running over bridge on the first lap can be a bit wierd. Because I was with a lot of runners at first, you could feel the bridge vibrating through your legs. Didn't love running on the gravel car park too much but rest was fine. Oh apart from could do with some Km/mile markers. Towells not great but good idea if you'd not brought one ofr the showers.
