In short: Great local race. Very enthusiastic marshalls. Will be back.
In full: Good local race with approx 300 runners. Parking on nearby playing field. Very enthusiastic and supportive marshalls. Only downside is frustratingly narrow path for first 100m which reduces all but front runners to slow jog. Overall, course is good with only one significant 'up'. Nice countryside if you have time to look around. And creme egg for all finishers!

In short: Very friendly race, fully-booked before day. Great marshalls but not so great undulations!
In full: Done this race several times and each time seem to have forgotten the nature of the course: quite a few significant undulations for first 7 miles (seems more ups than downs!). Good support in clusters round the course. My time gets slower each year but I hope to be back.

In short: Great local race. Well marshalled. Creme egg for all finishers!
In full: New course was good - except for first 100m which filtered c260 runners along a narrow path resulting in walking for all but front runners. Once on road it was fine. Lots of encouraging marshalls. Excellent tea and cakes at finish.

In short: Great local race. Friendly atmosphere.
In full: 4th time for me. Love hate relationship with course. Love atmosphere, hate hills (not many but enough to slow me to a crawl)

In short: Great sunny weather and friendly marsjhals helped make this a great race.
In full: Two lap course. A strong-ish breeze along the seafront and 'undulations' made the course quite hard (they are my excuses anyway!). But there are no true hills and the friendly marshalls and support along the promenade made this a good race.

In short: Excellent organisation, taking into account it was the first.
In full: Considering this was the inaugral Brighton Marathon, I think race went well. Perhaps a few more loos at Preston Park (altho I have never been to a race that has had enough), and delayed start was a bit irritating, but otherwise great. Great crowd support around centre, although a bit desolate around 20-22 when help would have been most welcome. All in all, I will definitely try to run next year.

In short: Low-key race, but great organisation and very friendly marshalls
In full: Faily undulating but quiet roads and lanes made it a good run. Few spactators but the numerous marshalls offered support and braved a cold wind to cheer everyone on.

In short: Usual excellent organisation, lots of marshalls - and great goody bag
In full: Really like this race. Very well organised - from parking on nearby village green, chip timing, excellent marshalls to very good goody bag - appreciated foil wrap at end, when it had got quite cold and it started to rain. Beat last year's time by 2 minutes so very happy!

In short: Good near-end-of-year chance to get a PB
In full: Low key race, with c.200ish starters who were mostly from local clubs. Overall, course around quiet country lanes has PB potential [my rather poor excuse is that a short but heavy burst of rain shortly after start meant I had really cold hands] although incline between 8 and 9 miles was not too well received!. Christmas pud was good choice for post-race goody.

In short: Very good race, lots of marshalls - and actually liked shoe bag presented at finish
In full: Good race, probably more suitable for club runners than 'fun' runners. Course quite challenging with some 'undulations' that slowed most people - and a few gusts of wind that slowed people as well (altho' cant blame organisers for those!) Lots of marshalls. Some may criticise shoe bag as finishing momento - but actually I think its quite useful.
