In short: Not bad In full: New course this year - double laps which was rather boring. A little conjested in the narrow sections. Marshals were all excellent and the goody bag was not to bad either. The que for the baggage drop off at the start was ridiculous and could do with looking into as to the ladies toilet ques.
In short: Mud Mud Glourious Mud! In full: Two words to sub this one up, Loved It! X-Country in July who would have thought it! Well done to all the marshalls and the goody bag was rather good, nice t-shirt and towel. Date of review: July 9, 2012
In short: Well Done Fleet! In full: 3rd year of taking part in this one and I love it! Spectators were brilliant as to we're the marshalls. Nice amount of water stations. Course is definatly undulating! Just missed a PB today, back next year for another attempt no doubt. My only grumble has to be Car Parking was not free as advertised in the booklet and I could not find a cold drink in the park afterward! Date of review: March 25, 2012
In short: BRILLIANT In full: Some great hills! Marshall's were great shouting encouragement to runners. I had a great run today and was only around 1 and a half minutes off my current PB time for 10km. So actually feel rather pleased. Today made me realise why I became a runner :-) Date of review: February 26, 2012
In short: Mud, Hills - Perfect end to the year! In full: What a great way to spend New Years Eve and to burn some calories for later! The ford crossing was Brilliant! Very muddy definate note for off road shoes next time as my road shoes felt like ice skates!!! Thanks to all the marshals and the mulled wine and mice pie was great at the finish. Medal was great and goody bag not to bad either. Date of review: January 1, 2012
In short: Well Done Basingstoke In full: How Hot was that!!! Fantastic spectator support. Could have done with an extra drinks station around mile 11 due to the heat. Nice medal, but not so great goody bag. Date of review: October 4, 2011
