In short: hhcfuycsdoijcr
In full: Echo all of the good comments already made. Good race, good atmosphere, good medal, choccy bar and sports drink as soon as you finish.

Couldn't ask for any more IMO.

In short: Definitely undulating
In full: This was my forth Fleet half....every year I finish thinking "I thought it was flatter"! Still good pb potential though.

A bit of a mess getting to the start. By the time I got there everyone had pushed forward ready for the start and it was difficult to find the correct place to start.

A good race though and I'll be back next year.

In short: Great race
In full: Can't say anymore than has already been said. I think handing out bottles of water and choccy bars was better than the 'goody bag' as people could take what they wanted and there was less waste. Look forward to next year.

In short: As good as ever....
In full: The best bit was finding a penguin (choccy bar, not the animal) in my goody bag! :-)

In short: Did anyone else think it was less than 10k?
In full: First of all.....a good race, with a good atmosphere. Never done it before and I belive that there is usually a fete of some sort?....If so then I imagine that this is a really good event.

Second....if you're not quick then don't line up at the front!! :-)

I was aiming for 41 mins, stopped 3 times for 1 minute each and ended up doing 42:30 so something doesn't add up for me. I don't think it's 10k, more like 6 miles.

So, overall a good race with good support but I won't be adding it to my 10k times. It wouldn't stop me doing it again though.

In short: Great race
In full: Was ill for last years race (in the rain) so was glad to be able to race this year. Got a pb by 9 minutes....was hoping for more but the sun took it's toll. Would rather have it sunny that raining though! An 1130 start is perfect to allow everyone to get there....it's not the organiser's fault that it was unusually hot. More water at the end than you could shake a stick at. Support was excellent....going past the pub in Dogmersfield with everyone applauding was very uplifting!

Only downside for me was the amount of people that think it won't matter if they start near the front when they are clearly not quick enough. My first mile was 30 seconds slower than I had planned due to waiting behind and then dodging people. Of course, that's not the organiser's fault. For me, the event was fantastic.

In short: Flat flat flat
In full: What a good race. There was plenty of parking, plenty of facilities, plenty of encouragement from marshalls and spectators, plenty of wind!

Only bad point is that people wanting to leave before everyone has finished have to wait for a gap between runners and then go for it! I was one of those trying to get out and I couldn't help but think that it's not good for the runners left to finish.....they should have a clear run.

Will be back next year though!

In short: Wot no medal?
In full: Was a great race. Well organised, all of the marshalls cheered...someone even offered to take my chip off for me as I was not in a good state when I finished!

Only downside was that if I'm going to run 20 miles then I'd like a medal for my efforts. The hat is a good idea, and will definitely be used, but I would have prefered a medal.

Will definitely be back again! Thanks to all involved!
