In short: A very pleasant race...
In full: I wasn't in best condition to run this race today but I'm so glad I made the effort to run it. It was very well organised and there was a good atmosphere throughout. The marshals along the route were very encouraging. Will definitely try to get this into my schedule for next year.

In short: A terribly organised race.
In full: As so many people have reported on here. The start & finish of this race were appalling!

My problems with the race were compounded by the fact that I booked into a hotel the night before the race (to avoid travelling in on the morning. I parked in a car park overnight that I thought wouldn't be affected by the race only to find, when I returned the next morning that signs had been put up saying not to park overnight & that the car park would not be opened again til 4 in the afternoon! There were at least half a dozen people who'd been caught out like this. One said they'd parked their car at 6 on the Saturday night and there was still no info about the closures. So when did they put the sign up?

I really think they should restrict the numbers, NOT make it a bigger race next year.

In short: A very pleasant race.
In full: This was the third time I'd completed this run. I prefer the start in Warwick Castle over St Nicholas Park and thought the change to the finish in Kenilworth was OK too, although it did cause the finishers to stack up a bit at the end. It's a lovely scenic race that I will probably run again.

In short: Only little things could make such a difference!
In full: The actual race was very well organised. Water stations, marshalls were great, the start was a little delayed but that wasn't a big deal. The organisation of the parking was appalling though. It took over an hour for us to get out of the car park. There was one marshall in our car park who just stood with his arms folded looking at the chaos! The last thing you want after running a half marathon is to be stuck in a car park for an hour or more! A couple of extra marshalls directing traffic would have made all the difference. Won't be doing this one again.

In short: A great race.
In full: Car parking was plentiful & easy to find.

The start was very well organised. The pens for start times were clearly marked. It was a nice city centre route. Thought the finish in Pride Park stadium gave an excellent atmosphere at the finish line. Will run this one again.
