In short: A great wake up!
In full: I have done this one a few times... whenever I end up having a break from running (illness, injury etc) this is a great race to get you back into it!
Well organises, free and friendly - it is a great one for beginners too!
The fact you have an accurate time and can track your improvements throughout the year is fab.... I use it to get my legs working again after a break and to track my speed (I am a bit of a smail) improvements.
Try it you won't be dissapointed!

In short: Ist Reading having lived here for 7 yrs! Really good atmosphere, lots of crowds and only 3 hills... very long downhill stretches though. Couldn't quite tell where the end was and many people walking during the last mile made it difficult to get past.

In short: Running in circles in Reading park. Big hill which goes past a pub is particularly evil on a hot day! All Race For Life events are well run and great for beginners.

In short: My first 10 mile race and I really enjoyed it! Good atmosphere, friendly runners and a trip down memeory lane spotting pubs in Portsmouth I had previously drunk in ;)
