In short: A Great Event
In full: A great friendly event - ideal way to burn off some of the excess Christmas calories. Well organised (couldn't help the ice), with a good medal and technical t-shirt as fitting souvenirs.

In short: A good race but could be better
In full: Good atmosphere and support from crowds. No energy drinks or jelly babies when we got to drinks stations and no goody bag. At least we got medals which some didn't. The organisers need to do much better if this is going to become a top event.

In short: Fantastic Race
In full: This must be one of the best marathons in the UK. I really enjoyed myself and helped myself to an unplanned and unexpected PB. Friendly atmosphere among runners, good marshalls and clockwork organisation. Also great support from non-racing runners out training around the route. I will be back maybe for the ultra.

In short: Luton Rocks
In full: Ok so the weather was rubbish but this was well organised with fantastic marshalls and friendly runners. I actually liked the 3 laps it meant I didn't have to carry anything being able to pick things up from my suporters on each lap. I met really inspirational runners including Mick & Phil and several members of the 100 marathon club.

Luton was my sixth marathon. Previously I have done London, New York, Paris, Blackpool and Dublin and I can honestly say Luton is one of my favourites.

In short: Well organised, friendly and testing
In full: Awful weather but nice race, really well organised and friendly. I found it tough but it was all my fault. Didn't eat enough before and ran low on energy.

In short: This is a great race. I will bw back
In full: Loved this race again. Testing course through beautiful Shropshire countryside and villages. Well organised loads of water stations it doesn't get much better. I also beat last years time and got a sub 2 hour finish so goals achieved.

In short: Loved it
In full: What a fantastic event. Not one for racing or chasing a PB. Really well organised and marshalled. I felt very safe all the time and got to meet and chat to some great people along the way. Highlight was crossing the River Kent. I also really liked the short miles in the first half. I have never two miles so fast before. Was a bit disheartened to run past two 7 mile markers about a mile apart though. Thanks to the organisers for a great race. I will be back.
