In short: Beautiful scenery but dangerous terrain
In full: Although the views were spectacular, the terrain was very dangerous and we were so lucky to have had a dry spring. Nearly fell over twice! I can't imagine what it would be like in wet weather. One other little problem was that on one of the last woodlands tracks there was a long distance without tape which made me doubt if I was going the right way. I almost turned back but finally saw the tape at the end, which lost me some time. Others also were caught out at this stretch

In short: Badly orgainsed with over complicated starting/parking instructions
In full: The starting details were over complicated with 2 different start points. We waited in the Severndale Sports Centre wondering where everybody was and then had to nearly sprint to the Park ' N 'Ride. OK so it was in the instructions but, even so, there should have been an announcement at the school reminding everyone to make their way to the start. When we did make our way, we had no idea of where we were going. It was a pure fluke that we found it. Not the ideal start to such a distance! And what an anti climax at the finish. Why oh why can't they start and finish at the same place?? Whilst I wasn't expecting a fanfare, a 'well done' would have been nice at the end!And surely they could have reached to a Mars Bar. All in all, poorly organised for such a demanding distance. I will find a different pre-marathon warm up run next year.
