In short: lovely tour of Wiltshire countryside In full: Could have been a lot muddier if not for the frozen ground. Nice mixture of gently rolling countryside for the first 5 miles including a bit of Kennet and Avon canal followed by massive steep ups and downs with a long run in to the finish when the body has had enough! In short: A lovely rural jaunt In full: This was my 14th clarendon and they have all been challenging but great fun. Far more enjoyable than "road running" with pretty villages, good spectator and marshall support, spot on organisation and a few climbs- well the route is certainly undulating. In short: a wonderful race around a lovely village In full: Mainly on roads but hardly any traffic and nice climb to Combe Gibett location of hangings in the past! A wickedly fast race for the remaining run back to the playing field with option of beer at the finish. Everyone seemed to be smiling and children enjoyed their own races while we were out.
