In short: Nice location and route, esp Stretton. 20 min delay at start in drizzle not good and distinct lack of adequate number of toilets. £30 entry bit too high. will do it again prob though!

In short: A nice little run, worth the trip up North
In full: This was a great little run with good mile markers and a well placed drinks station. The marshalls were great, all shouting encouragment along the way. There is a massive pb potential on this course but the seaside location and time of year may always put a limit on this - neither of which should be changed. On the day, it did seem like 90% of runners were club runners but it didn't come across as being clicky at all. The venue was great with amble changing, toilets and (hot)showers for afterwards. Would like to do teh full tour next time.

In short: Tough! those little subway cycle tracks take their toll after a few miles. The park and pondss were vertry picturesque but the best bit was the enthusiasm of the marshalls who were fab. Not one for a pb

In short: Good race - nice to start in heart of town and finish close to car parks. Lucozade would have been good even if just once at about 18 miles but water plentiful - excellent

In short: Absolutely fabulous race, well organised and very friendly feel from both runners and marshals alike. Use of showers at end and goody bag. Lovely small scale race not yet overtaken by the profit making side of things. (ps 2005 but no option on menu!)

In short: This was an exellently organised race. Water was plentiful and marshals were brilliant
In full: This race is definately on my calendar for 2006. It was unlike any half I have done before with an 'interesting' mix of road, paths, woodland and fields! Quite tough going in places but well worth it - passing through a number of picturesque villages.
