In short: Understated little gem.
In full: I'm glad to see everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. Fantastic organisation that doesn't get in the way but is there if and when you need it. Great facilities, wonderful scenery and a few playful hills to keep it interesting. What more could you want? Thanks to all for another cracking day. Back again next year.

In short: Forget about the hills, this is a must do race. Still cheering them in till the last one finished. Fantastic support and plenty of brilliant marshalls to look after you.
In full: This isn't just for the hardy runners out there. There were loads of first timers running. All were looked after wonderfully by the brilliant team at Brathay. One of the best organised races I've ever done. Oh, and don't forget the scenery. If you're trying to choose a marathon as a first attempt at the distance or want something a bit special, this is it. 13 from our club did this years race and everyone went home happy. Thank you Scott and everyone involved. See you next year.

In short: Superb organisation, great course and you even managed to fix the weather!
In full: Well done Taunton. First time for me at this one and it is now an annual fixture. Loved it. Great course with a good mix of town and scenery and just a couple of hills to keep it interesting. Four of us came down from Worcester and all went home with PB's so it's deceptively quick as well. All helped by near perfect weather and great facilities when you get back.

In short: A gem of a race - even in that weather!
In full: Loved it. After a deep disappointment with Leicester, course not time, this was the perfect finish to the marathon calendar. Loved the three laps cos I knew what was coming, marshalls were the best I've ever seen, and didn't mind getting soaked and nearly blown away. Don't be put off by the location and the fact it runs through town for much of it, this is a secret PB cert on the right day.

In short: Fantastic organisation. Good support. Scenery takes your mind off the second lap.
In full: Haven't done this for a couple of years and things have improved beyond recognition. Water and sponge stations (and toilets)- brilliant! Marshalls - hundreds of them. All made for a great race. My only complaint was that there was no food available in the refreshments tent for marathon finishers getting in after three hours plus. Must be all those greedy halfers! Ho ho. Thanks to Stratford Rotary for a great day out.

In short: Magnificent marshalls, superb support and awesome organisation. Well done and thank you to Abingdon Amblers.
In full: Training felt apart five weeks out cos of work commitments etc and I wasn't really prepared. Turned up to see how it went. My result - as good as I could have hoped. Atmosphere - outstanding. The encouragement and support all the way round will stay with me for a very long time. Don't change a thing AA; you've got it just right. Thank you.

In short: Excellent! Well worth travelling to if you're looking for a fast course.
In full: Very efficient organisation except for parking before the start. This isn't a complaint, just a reminder to allow time to get there and settled before the start. Loved the course and setting and hope to do it again next year.

In short: Well organised, traffic free and friendly
In full: A testing gem of a course especially as it's traffic free. Marshalls and organisation great with really good support as you come in to the finish. One year we'll get typical summer weather (cold and wet) and that will make it perfect.

In short: Really enjoyable run> Friendly atmosphere and good support on the course.
In full: A friend recommended this one after the heat of 2005. I'm glad I followed up on his advice and that the weather was a bit cooler. I will also be recommending this as one not to be missed. Thanks to all the marshalls and supporters. Well done!
