In short: fast course (except miles 4-5 - spooky) and pan flat. I was well off the pace in the first couple of miles but managed to pick up the pace for the second half of the race

In short: Very impressed with organisation and helpfulness of Marshals
In full: Not sure how tough the hills were as had cycled from Wirral to get there and legs were tired anyway but the scenery was excellent and there was even somewhere secure to leave my bike which was one thing less to worry about. Overall had an excellent run in good conditions, although an extra water stop would have been most welcome around 7-8 miles. Hopefully do the same next year.

In short: fantastic scenery, constant short climbsand descents make it a fairly tough race

In short: Not quite as extreme as I expected but certainly enough to make it a very interesting race, bit overpriced though
