In short: Fab day and great goody bag
In full: Flippin hot day! Rather congested at the start and was walking within feet of the start. Marshalls needs to make sure slower runners go towards back. Apart from that, the race was great - mainly flat, a very slight incline by fire station but nothing really troublesome. Excellent organisation, great goody bag and perfect location by the river - lots of runners with their families having picnics by the river, like we did :-D. A fab day, particularly as I got a great PB.

In short: Tough hills but lovely scenery
In full: Not a PB course as there are some tough hills. Mile 3 is uphill all the way. The next at mile 7 is also a long drag, plus one at 9.5 and another at 11.5. If you really don't like hills, don't do this one. However, on the plus side it was a small friendly race through beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.

In short: Friendly, well supported race with helpful marshalls. An easy-ish course.
In full: Gently undulating course, but no really difficult hills to speak of (I hate hills!). Well organised, lots of friendly marshalls, four drinks stations (loved the army lad who shouted at me "you're the best"!) and nice medal. Goody bag was a bit crap. The weather today was a bit hot for me but in slighty cooler weather I might have run a bit better and got that PB. Will deffo run it again.
