In short: Scenic, well organised
In full: Out-and-back gently rolling course, beautiful scenery on furthest 8 miles out of built-up areas. On road with tourist traffic but all drivers very patient and careful. Plenty of drink stations; on a hot day there seemed to be more than advertised. Lots of prizes, every 5-year age group, teams, local, etc. Well organised, nice atmosphere, runners neither crowded not sparse, just right. Only improvement I would suggest is a secure baggage area.

In short: Tough, but glorious scenery.
In full: Very smoothly organised. Very friendly atmosphere particulary amongst the runners. Nice support in the town, and dotted around the course, very supportive marshals and water stations. Don't be afraid of the hill, just admire the scenery and you'll be at the top without noticing.

In short: Excellent, safe, friendly, great marshals
In full: Excellent safety mostly on pavements, off-road tarmac tracks or very quiet roads. Where one had to cross roads, was well protected my marshals and traffic control signs.
Great marshalling both in numbers and encouragement. Frequent drink stations. Nice start and finish on an athletics track.
Others have commented on the industrial estate - yes, not very interesting, but it was to keep us safe from having to cross so many rounabouts, particularly the one where we turned left onto the Sutton Courtney road.

In short: Over-crowded & expensive but good organisation + atmosphere
In full: Yes, a PB course, but over-crowded - couldn't get to race speed until 1/2 way. Pinch points at allyway and 400M from end - had to slow to walk. Time = 42:36 - usually 40 1/2 min runner. Far too expensive - just because it's a charity race + over-subscribed doesn't justify £11. Several Km signs at ground level - not visible in a crowd. However, enthusiastic marshalls, good atmosphere, well organised.
