In short: the Stadium made the finish special
In full: As this was my first Half Marathon I have nothing to compare it with. I did feel that the start was badly organised as I ended up near the front (I should of been near the back).
The course was lovely and flat and the Barrage was great (thankfully it wasn't raining)and then to finish in the stadium was just brilliant although it would of been nicer if there was more supporters both out on the streets and in the stadium, so maybe the marathon should be advertised more in the week leading up to the day.
Thank you to all the Marshalls and all the other runners who shouted lots of words of encouragement to us first timers!!
