In short: Madder than mad, I won't ever forgeet this one.
In full: Truly world class marshals, even better than Dr Rob's usual fantastic team of friendly helpers. Drinks, food and friendly words at every feed station and junction which made a huge difference. Still a nightmarishly hard run though, which was what we were promised. Now I can walk again, loved it.
PS I wish I could have given 5 for each category but couldn't say this was a beginners race although huge respect for the guy in blue who finished after never run even standard marathon before. PB as this was the first and last time.

In short: What a difference a year makes....
In full: My third but definitely not my last Stinger, a great atmosphere as always. Last year was bone dry earth paths baked into tough ridges which were very hard on the ankles, this year was treacle although the Inov8's were brilliant, didn't slip once. Huge thanks to the children on breakfast duty who did brilliantly and especially to the heroic marshals on the coursse - I thanked a fair few on the way round but was too tired to thank all so here it is, fantastic job.

In short: The best deranged way to start the year
In full: Dr Rob and his marshals did another fantastic job - another big thank you. Every year I find myself looking around and grinning at the eccentricly dressed folk; I sang God Save the Queen while chatting to an elf and petting Death's huskies this year, other than Elton John's parties where else?. Big fan of the zigzag way addition too - will make watching Cav, Wiggo, G and the boys whizzing up it later this year even better.
Mark (the daffodil)
PS 100% for PB as I've never run a 12k before.

In short: Brutal, evil, great fun. Dr. Rob and the marshals were fabulous as ever.
In full: We were promised hard and boy did we get it. Worse than Tough Guy. The organisation by Dr. Rob and the team was spot on as always, the rendition of God Save the Queen at the start was just right and the marshals at each and every station around the course were huge: so supportive, friendly and willing to help - and they must have been frozen. Very hard but very hard to beat.

In short: Above and beyond marshalling
In full: Very tough conditions, rained throughout and had wet feet from the very start - but it didn't seem to matter after the first couple of 100 yds. Great atmosphere and very impressive marshalling. Back for my 4th next year.

In short: Magnificent - thank you.
In full: What a first marathon! Thank you organisers, you should feel justifyably proud. The lady who told us "20 miles done" at the base of the first of the sisters was a little enthusiastic - no problem, I'm still smiling.
