In short: Monster hills, awesome scenery, great organisation and superb marshalling made this probably the most "fun" you can have running 26.2 In full: The Purbeck marathon has now got a problem on their hands......how do they top their first race. Very impressive organisation.considering it was their inaugural event. Even the mile markers were pretty accurate which is an impressive feat considering the terrain and route. Proper drinks bottle with a nozzle top was a nice touch at the 20 mile mark especially for someone like me who can't drink out of cups on the move. Even got a lead motorcycle who popped up whenever there was a road to run along!

In short: Could be a little bit bias because I won :-) In full: Still think it was a very well organised race (especially since it was zoomtri's first go). The marshals and lead cyclists were all very friendly. The race director seemed almost as excited as me as we started to catch the leader!! It was a shame that the presentation was so late as there were not many people left to collect their prizes Date of review: March 2, 2009
