In short: Good organisation, nice to see a BBQ and bar at the end, weather was very hot which made it hard, but overall I enjoyed this

In short: A good race, but spoiled by poor organisation at the finish
In full: I found the whole race well organised (except for the finish), there were toilets that you didn't have to queue for (although it was other runners that told us of these as they weren't signposted), the day went smoothly with no problems with traffic or parking, race itself was good, although those bridges in the last couple of miles are a bit mean. Plenty of water and energy drinks, marshalls were friendly (and they must have been very cold!) Only criticism was the finish - after a sprint (!?) up to the line you stopped dead and were then herded into a pen for 10 mins, unable to cool down properly and just getting cold, while the legs stiffened up - drinks were brought down to us, but I don't think it was clear that we needed to stay in order - I saw people moving back to meet up with people, and some people pushed past me. I will just stick with my stopwatch time from line to line - which was a PB by 7 mins, so I was well happy with the day overall. I would do this again, although it was a tad expensive considering no goody bag and no chip time.

In short: Well organised and great weather, altogether a well spent morning out!
In full: Very well organised, the hills were not too difficult and managed to get to get a PB!

In short: Appallingly poor time, but mostly due to the extremely hot conditions
In full: No complaints about organisation, marshalling, scenery etc. Unfortunately the extremely hot conditions put paid to any sensible running time for me (and another few other runners I saw pulling up/falling down). Good goody bag, great organisation etc, just needed it cooler! Might do again next year if the forecast is a little more "running friendly"!

In short: Well organised, frequent water stations, good marshalling & friendly locals all made this a good day. Drawbacks - no sports drinks or the like at the water stations and a 1pm start on a hot day, but otherwise a great race. Recommended.

In short: Travelled some distance for this one and very glad I did, lovely weather, excellant race with friendly and encouraging bystanders/marshalls, and good changing facilities.
In full: There are some hills, but the worst one looks worse than it is when you get there. Managed to run my quickest 10k and 5k splits to date in the tail end of this race, so there must be some payoff for those hills! Roads are not traffic free but were generally quiet and very well marshalled.
Will definately be back next year (although I guess I might be pushing my luck to expect such gorgeous weather two years on the trot!)
