In short: Great day with picnic in park at the end!
In full: A hot day, which meant pb's were difficult to achieve. Support from family and friends fantastic though.

Only gripe - at the end of the 10k, I ran into a wall of walking 5k / 10k competitors, as the course converged. It was ok, but had to take a longer route to get to the finish and in the heat it was a bit soul destroying! Could the 5k start at a different time to the 10K?

In full: The scenery is stunning and the course a little challenging to all runners used to just the flat; but very enjoyable! Will be back next year!! Thanks to all involved in the organisation - spot on!!

In short: Excellent morning - really enjoyed the run!
In full: Thanks Asics for sponsoring the event - t-shirt was good and medal had nice colour touches! ..... and course enjoyable, with Sefton Park looking fab in it's autumn colours. A bit of a slow start, but space to run appeared quite quickly. Friendly, enjoyable 10k!

In short: Ok - but not for the claustrophobic!
In full: A very well organised race!
The Red Arrows were superb, and timed just perfect as we came off the bridge and the crowds at South Sheilds just fab!
But surrounded by too many runners, meant I couldn't get into a rhythm for the whole race - having to dodge around fellow runners and walkers right up to the finish. (I knew this could be a problem due to the size of the event, but didn't imagine it would be for the entire race.)
And sorry too expensive to run it again.

In short: Great run !
In full: First time running this race and thought it was great! Tunnel was weird but fun. View of Liverpool from across the water was fleeting, but amazing - city looking great with all the new development. Lack of crowds, but great support from fellow runners. Two water stations very welcomed. Excellent price for chip, t shirt great and medal!

In short: Improved again - well done!
In full: A great race - tho some runners didn't pay attention to the start times and it was a little congested for the first k.
Also felt a little longer than a 10k? or was that just me?!!
Toilets spot on! Course through park really nice and lots of water available. Rain held off - had a lovely picnic with friends afterwards in the park. A great run for beginners wanting to move up from 5k.
