In short: Even though it was a cold day lots of people turned out at the start to wish the runners good luck.
In full: A really good beginning of the year run with the potential for a fast time. Made a nice change to receive a souvenier which wasn't just a meddle. Really made a difference and shows a lot of thought on behalf of the organisers. Would definately do the race again next year.

In short: Home City Race and definately a race to be proud of
In full: For visitors to Liverpool it couldn't be any better. Blue skies and sunshine and after a perfect run through the new dock area and a run through Sefton Park it's the last three miles along the Mersey which make this run extra special.

In short: After 20 years running, this is now my favourite 10K
In full: The first time I've ran a 10k away from the roads and towns. The organisation and friendliness of all the runners, local supporters and organisers made this one of the best races i've ever done.
Totally renewed my love of running, seriously!!!

In short: My home race so I'm obviously going to say it's good.
In full: A really scenic route and mostly flat with fantastic support from the race marshals who have had to stand in the rain for the last three years in a row now.

In short: Good Sunday Morning run, mostly flat course with a good personnal best potential.
In full: The 2007 event was mostly marred by poor weather, being a local i know that Helensburgh wouldn't be the same without it.
With that in mind a special thankyou has to go to all the race marshalls and volunteers that gave up their Sunday sleep in to stand in the cold and torrential rain and ensure that not only did everything go smoothly but also that they helped to raise the morale of all the runners who took part, so THANKYOU.
