In short: Excellent race once again
In full: Smoothly organised race. Great marshalls and other volunteers. One of the best goody bags I've had from a race. But please next year ban headphones. I saw multiple people who were unable to hear marshalls' instructions getting right in the way.

In short: Nice scenery, some killer hills
In full: Ran this for the 5th time today. Not keen on the new finish - rather quiet and a cold walk back to the race base. And not even a cup of water. I've never been to a distance race where there wasn't even a cup of water for the finishers. A long queue for a cuppa it was then.

In short: Small and friendly. Great organisation and (for me) efficient lap counter. PB for me so of course I'm biased!

In short: A real killer but the organisation and marshalling are both superb
In full: My third running of this race was the best yet. Conditions were perfect and the organisation was brilliant as usual. A slow coach like me who spends a lot of time on my own has no trouble finding the route as it's very well marked. Great to get a medal and a technical t-shirt.

In short: Great course which is well marked, fab marshalls, nicely challenging but...
In full: I do like this race. The course is really well marked, the marshalls are really fantastic, the scenery is great. But the twice I've done it the lack of toilets has been a real pain. I entered on line and paid a premium for that, yet don't get my number sent to me in advance. Maybe the money saved by not posting anything out to the vast majority of entrants could be spent on toilets (that work) or even a race HQ where we can use the facilities. Still, I'll probably turn up again next year.

In short: This is a great race, despite the killer hill between 6 and 7!
In full: Great to see such good support in truly dreadful weather. Great marshalls. The drummers were a fab touch too. My third running of this race and definitely not my last!

In short: Enjoyed my 4th running of this race, good to have chip timing
In full: Not a good start to have to park miles away from the start (and we arrived more than an hour before). Great marshalls as always. Nice mug.

In short: Challenging but enjoyable and more scenic than the title might suggest!
In full: A tough race with an unkind sting in the tail with the hill at mile 9. But it's a good race and worth doing. Cheerful and friendly marshalling as ever.

In short: Hard work but very friendly.
In full: Small field but friendly. Nice to be acknowledged by the front runners as they passed me at the back. Shame about the horrible pong of the sewage being pumped out into the sea though!
