In short: Well organised, good value, friendly over fast-ish course
In full: Nice friendly event in beautiful part of world though I am not quite sure I would describe it as PB flat. Mile markers - not sure they were that accurate but the course has been certified so perhaps it was just me :-)

In short: Good organisation, good crowd support, flatish route
In full: No tmuch to fault about this event. Points that could be improved:
1. After race meal - greasy burgers :-( (especially as I am vegetarian)
2. Prize-giving happened after most people had left and the winners were cold.
3. One or two points that could be better marshalled - somewhere bwetweeen 5 and 7 miles lone runners could have gone wrong.
4. Missing 8 and 12 mile markers - or maybe I was going too fast.

These are all very minor points on what was a great day - I take my hat off to the organisers.

Thanks

In short: Improved course - terrible organisation
In full: +ve Improved course, excellent marshals and spectators, nice medal and tee shirt (though not for running in)
-ve Absolute chaos around runners village, too few loos, too few signs around runners area, Park & Ride was a farce as it dropped runners off approx 2 miles from start!, no labels for bags for those who didn't get a label (this caused a lot of problems for baggage handlers), overpriced entry fee, start area was just absolute chaos, start and finish area not too spectator friendly - difficult to access.

I think in changing the course AND upping the entry limit in the same year it appears the organisers were overly ambitious. I 'suspect' that 15000 runners is too many for this course/venue. Suggestion - keep this new course, reduce the entry limit back to that of last year and learn from the mistakes and Bristol could once again become a top event.

In short: Superb organisation, good crowd support
In full: The crowd support stands out as a highlight. Too much zig-zagging around city centre streets for a PB am slightly demoralising for tail-enders but good for spectators I suppose. One big downside was the 1000's of runners who did not bother to start in the correct area. I was aiming for 1:15 and at the start had scooby doo and a gorilla in front of me! Managed to overtake about 200 in first mile but this needs to be improved.

In short: Well organised, good value, scenic, something for all standards
In full: It's a pity it is limited to so few runners. Not what I would call a PB course but nonetheless enjoyable. The only thing I could fault was despite the fact food was plentiful at the end there was nothing for veggies.
