In short: superb off road race with the friendliest/craziest/happiest marshalls I have ever encountered
In full: A super off-road race in glorious sunshine in glorious countryside. Purple Patch don't half organise some cracking off road races. You'll never record personal bests but you will go home a happier person than when you arrived. The marshalls all seemed to be in happy/clappy land (uplifting for runners) while the band at five miles and half way were super. Great day out by the Thames - and all for a good cause.

In full: Purple Patch do a fantastic job organising these slightly 'different runs'. Great fun. Loved the massage at the end - tougher than the run! Ok, the baggage van was delayed but heh the M25 is a nightmare. A run I will do every year until my legs can take no more.

In full: Great atmosphere which made up for the pain in the rain. Super event with a thrilling band to get the heart beating before the hills of Keswick took their toll. I loved it. Friendly. Tough. Rough. Hard. But fun. It's how running should be.
