In short: Well organised fun event - just a shame it was so hot!
In full: Really enjoyed this event even though there was no chance of a PB in the heat. I noticed a lot of people were adopting a walk in the sun/run in the shade stratgy once we hit the hills!

My only mild criticism would be that it wasn't made clear that the water station would have cups of water only. I was fine as I ran with my bottle which the marshall topped up for me. Others didn't run with a bottle thinking they could pick one up at the water station which meant they had to complete the second half of the race in the extreme heat without any water at all.

I will definitely do this event again next year.
