In short: Fantastic race although a bit of a trek to the car park. 1500 people entered so a nice size and a good group of competitors.

In short: Great day out
In full: Very well organised with great crowd support, this was a fantastic day out despite my final time. Highlights, runners village, Great Pulteney Street, the band at Queens square, views of the landmarks and river, drinks stations, the only lowlight being not enough toilets once you were on the course.

Thanks to all the organisers for a good day out.

In short: Very well organised
In full: I thoroughly enjoyed this race which took you through some interesting bits of Portsmouth especially the Naval Dockyard. The weather was superb as were the other competitors I met. Achieved my own PB despite not having a good running day and if you can afford it I recommend you try this one out. Its worth inviting your friends / family along as well for the scenic views.

In short: Great Buzz, one of lifes must do's
In full: Great day, my first marathon. Very busy so 10 minutes over target. Crowd were fantastic. The only thing that spoilt it was the anarchy afterwards at horse guards parade. Hot day for it but the thrill of doing this was unbeatable.

In short: Good Crowd
In full: Writing this after a knackering but rewarding 21 miles. Very well organised with a good crowd, good marshals, well placed water stops. It would have been more convenient if they had a place you could put your bags safely.

Thanks MABAC

In short: A victim of its own success ?
In full: Good intentions however the beginning and end was chaotic - beginning, it was a shuffle along a small exit point to get to you time pens (and why do runners think they are going to go faster than they actually do) I overtook loads even though I was in the 1.50 pen and ended up doing 1.53.

Scenery included South Reading, Uni Campus a bit of the town, some industrial areas and finally the Madjeski.

At the end it was a fight for space blankets, medals and where the baggage trucks were.

Good points - crowd when they we were there / kids drumming with spatulers on tin cans ! toilets were plentiful,

In short: Great, once you've warmed up!
In full: Great run and everything was very well organised. They even had toilets in the car park! Regular water stops and marshalls very supportive. Only minor gripe was cars on the course but fairly infrequent. Goods signs, fast course. I loved it and will definitely do it again.

In short: Muddy but rewarding experience. This was certainly longer than the 10km advertised
In full: Huge queue for the toilets at the beginning was the only thing that spoiled it for me so in the end opted for the woods like many others. No waterstation either until the end. Would do it again and i'll bring some XC trainers next time !
