In short: Brilliant
In full: A fantastic event, well organised and great support along the route - there was a real community feel with BBQs in front gardens and families bringing out jugs of water! I will be back next year.

I was terribly sad to read of the two fatalities at the race. My thoughts are with the runner's families and friends.x

In short: Excellent marshalls, organisation and momento, great morning out
In full: Did the 10 miler but also couldn't find anywhere to rate it. This race had everything you could ask for - well organised, extremely happy marshals despite the rain, plentiful water/gel stations, chip timing, friendly fellow runners, varied scenery, nice medal, mars bar and massages. Thanks! Highly recommended

In short: Loved it!
In full: The race lived up to its name and certainly was a challenge but the hills were made all the more manageable by the amazing marshalls - every single one friendly and encouraging. A brilliant run and will definitely be back next year - especially as its a few minutes walk from my front door! Thanks LBAC!

In short: Fast, flat and for a great cause
In full: Really enjoyed this race - nice friendly atmosphere, easy and cheap to park and plenty of toilets if you walked a bit further away from the porta-loos and used the park ones. The course was a bit boring by the 4th lap but was very flat and fast and I got a PB so was very pleased, even though the course was a bit long (6.35miles!)

Goodie bag and t-shirt and great to get a text with my time before I even got to the car!

It was expensive but was all for a good cause and would do it again.

In short: Great fun, loved it...but no dogs please!
In full: Really freindly, reasonably priced and well organised Boxing Day race, pleasant setting and well supported. My only compliant was that dogs were allowed to accompany runners - when a dog suddenly stopped to do a 'Paula' on the route it caused a pile up of runners behind it and we had to remember to dodge the resulting 'christmas log' for the next few laps! Yuck. Otherwise, fab race and I will be back. Thanks!

In short: Fantasic marshalls, well organised, great for a first timer
In full: This was my first half and it was a fantastic event from start to finish. Race instructions were clear, free bus to and from the venue worked well, nice course (although a little more undulating than I expected!), enthusiastic and plentiful marshalls, good track finish and decent medal, mug and two bananas! Well worth the entry fee. Will be back next year! Thanks to all involved
