In short: Bang on
In full: Thank you to the organisers for a really good event. Everything was like clockwork. Easy access to parking, no queue to collect number/chip, nice little warm up jog to the start line, super-fast course (despite the wind today), and a fabulous post-race massage. Innovative use of social media pre-event too. See you next year and thanks again.

In short: Not that well supported
In full: Given that this race made up part of the weekend long festival o running it did not seem that well supported. Only 250 athletes raced and there was very little support out on the mildly undulating route. On a more positive note it was nice to race on closed roads and the marshalling was excellent. I enjoyed the last 800m along the prom where there was some support. Overall the organisers must have been disappointed with the low turnout (3000 places were advertised). Might be back next year if it happens again.

In short: Turbo Xtreme it truly was
In full: What would have been a great race was spoilt to some extent by the Marshall who sent us the wrong way. That must have added a mile to the course. Nevertheless the course was seriously hardcore: scrambling up "hills" virtually on all fours at times, knee deep mud, and none existent trails made it all a reall challenge. I run 65 mins for 10 miles on the road but clocked 1:44 today coming a pleasing 18th. Goody bag was fab, can't wait to see the photos!

In short: Wet and Muddy and.....
In full: .....I loved every minute of it! Excellent course with plenty of hills and great scenery. Treated it like a training run today due to the terrible weather but had loads of fun. Marshalls were brilliant, thanks!

In short: A great little race
In full: This was a pretty low key event but thoroughly enjoyable. Great course at Harewood House, easy parking, smiley marshalls, smooth organisation, and a really useful goody bag (water, lucozade, banana, cereal bar and Mars bar). Thanks to all involved. See you next year for more!

In short: Great crowds and support
In full: Once I got parked I really enjoyed this race. The stadium start/finish was brilliant and the crowds out on the course were fantastic. Lifted by the atmosphere I put in a sprint finish and was rewarded with some fab photos! Thanks to the people of Sheffield for a memorable experience, see you again next year.

In short: A good challenge
In full: Thanks to everyon at Radcliffe AC for putting on a challenging race. Lots of short sharp hills and a few long drags on various surfaces but mostly good trails. Easy registration and no probs whatsoever. A long way to travel for me so probably won't be back but I'd recommend to others.

In short: Cheeky Monkey
In full: All race organisers should learn from this event. Sensational organisation from entry to finish line and beyond. Great route, great goody bag, great marshalls. Thank you to everyone from Knavesmire Harriers, you are all legends. I hope I'm lucky enough to get in for my 4th go next year.

In short: Well organised again
In full: It's clearly a tried and tested formula - my 5th Abbey Dash and well organised as ever. No problem with starting pens if you get there early and local knowledge saved me from the toilet queues! Thanks to all involved with this race for another great event. See you next year for No. 6.

In short: Windy
In full: But there's not a lot the organisers can do about that! There was a bit of confusion at the start as mentioned by another reviewer. It was more undulating that I expected but no major hills meant it was still prety fast despite the wind. Thanks to all the marshalls etc. Parked without problems and easy to get away afterwards. Nice mug as a memento.
