In short: Fantastic!!!
In full: I heartily endorse all the positive comments that have been made by other competitors. I achieved a PB of 1/41/36 at the grand old age of 59 yrs and 8 days and I'm still on cloud 10!!

In short: Absolutely superb!
In full: This was my third time and the best yet, helped by the weather. It's what I call a "proper" race as it has ups and downs. I endorse the comments about tee shirt - I will be proud to wear it when I run and I think the medal and £5 Sweatshop voucher make it extra value for money.

In short: I heartily endorse all the positive comments made by other runners
In full: I wouldn't do this again because it's a "one-off" experience to savour from my point of view. I shudder to think about how I/we would have coped if the conditions had been very muddy and hot......I found it quite remarkable that there was a disparity of 26 minutes between my PB and the time it took me to run this race. Can anyone confirm whether the distance was exactly 10 miles?

In short: Superb
In full: Thanks so much to everyone involved in organising and supporting this race. Although it's impossible to get anywhere near a PB, for sheer enjoyment and exhiliration it's the best race I've ever been involved in. It defines what running is all about for me.

In short: Excellent
In full: Very enjoyable but I was annoyed with myself that I didn't break the 1hr 20min "barrier" (by about 37 secs) but still just about managed a PB. Remarkable contrast in weather conditions with last year and will definitely do it again.

In short: I am on "Cloud nine" as I beat my previous PB by 6minutes and 3 seconds
In full: Taking account of the fact that this was the first race at this venue for a number of years I didn't think the general organisation was too bad. I agree with most of the comments of previous contributors but I'm sure the organisers will take them into account for future years. Of one thing I am completely certain - this is the best chance I will ever get to do a PB at this distance and I will be back next year to do even better!

In short: I've never run in conditions like these before but it was certainly charcter building!
In full: You could do a PB in this race but only if the weather conditions were much calmer. The last 5 miles were unbelievable but I felt a great sense of achievement at the end.

In short: This was a truly unique and wonderful experience. I congratulate the organisers for making this such an enjoyable morning. It would always be impossible to do a PB because you have to queue to get through a stile, and I think I had to wait for about
