In short: Thanks Elvis, for making the finish special!
In full: It rained before the start and hailstoned after the finish but was really hot for the race, windy though. Disappointing goody bag this year - a T-shirt and a biscuit! I'd forgotten just how hilly the hills were but I was only a minute slower than my pb on a flat course.

In short: Great fun
In full: Luckily the torrential rain eased off just before the start, plenty of puddles along the route and a killer stretch of mud - was sure I would be the one to fall, thankfully didn't. All added to the atmosphere, definately be back next year.

In short: Undulating to say the least, but you're guaranteed a pb for a fairly unique distance.
In full: Three laps so unfortunately you know when the uphill sections are (feels like most of it, but surprisingly nice view all round.

In short: Great race - I beat last year's time by almost two minutes. Not much on the flat though, long rather than steep slopes.

In short: A great race to take part in
In full: I took six minutes off last year's time, managed to run the whole way (even the hills) and the organisation seemed better than last year - sports drink in the goody bag, and starting off in two waves cut down on the crowd at the start.

In short: Good flat course
In full: Nice course in the grounds of Kinross House, by a golf course - although the laps let you see exactly how many people are ahead of you! Good food afterwards, especially the chocolate cake.

In short: Great choice for my second-ever race. I'll be back next year to see the view that I missed 'cos of the fog!

In short: Great location, great medal and a PB (well it was my first 10k!) It'll take a while to grow in to the T-shirt though, it's HUGE.
