In short: Missed the bluebells In full: Did prefer the old course but this was flatter. Was wondering about the distance as particularly short, it felt, between 4 and 5. Great family occassion and park looked great - just would have preferred not to re-lap at beginning and go up through the woods. Date of review: May 6, 2013

In full: Our first family event which we all thoroughly enjoyed! Maybe have less of a wait in between 1k finish and 10k start so children not waiting for parents as long. Lovely course and friendly marshalls. Thank you Date of review: May 7, 2012

In short: Was there fruit?!!! In full: A really scenic run but a shame about the lengthy queue for the pre-registered numbers and the toilet. My sister and i did not even make the delayed start! Not down to us. Fortunately we were having a leisurely run but at 68 mins back i was not aware we had missed out on fruit as there wasn't any left! Really is a lovely course which has had many organisational problems over the years - if these were ironed out it would be great! Date of review: May 4, 2009

In short: Fab race, lots of water stations and support throughout! In full: Very much enjoyed this - great day out with lots to do. Small gripe - don't restrict the toilets to mens and womens. The ladies was much busier and the men just walked in. Overall very enjoyable though. Date of review: September 21, 2008

In short: Well organised although warm up could have been before 10 a.m. not after it. Not good for the bladder! Lots of support on course which was nice. Was the last kilometre correctly measured? Date of review: October 14, 2007

In short: The worst organised event i have ever been to! In full: Am still angry about this! After training hard in the previous months to try to get a p.b. we were met with a shambles of a race. Start between the barrels, told the course (as no arrows or marshalls!) then find NO KILOMETRE markers!!!!!! No water on course - my sister had to lend some out! Had no idea how getting on, didn't have a clue where finish was coming over the bridge, chip timing pointless as from gun and then a case of get your own medal and no goody bag at all - as promised!! You were lucky to get a drink of water before it ran out. Not worth £16 at all. Felt like they had no respect for the runner at all. (still quite cross!) Date of review: September 30, 2007

In short: A very well organised race with friendly marshalls. In full: Quite a tough run in the heat. Could it be moved to ten a.m? I have to praise the excellent idea of rolls and cake included in the price of this event. More races should do this! Well done! Date of review: September 16, 2007
