In short: Flat quick course, bit congested in places In full: Course was quick and flat, marshalls were friendly and there was support dotted around the course.
Main problem was the start as it was very congested. They could have done with organised starting pens and a few more time markers. Also other parts of the course on pavements were a bit tight so found you had to run in the road to get past people.
Other than that, enjoyed a nice run in the sunshine along the beach, with a pb chucked in for good measure! Date of review: April 4, 2011
In short: Nice scenery, well organised, good run. In full: Great to run arounds the grounds of Wilton House. Organisation was good and the marshalls were cheery. The only suggestion would be to have some km markers, so you can pace the race better.
Also goof that it's a charity event. Date of review: March 13, 2011
In short: Seemed poor organisation, but nice run. In full: From the e-mails in the week before the event, mixing up whether they would send to timing chips in time, to the lack of toilet facilities, to the poor start line up, to the chap dishing out water from a dustbin, the organisation just seemed to be really bad.
Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed it and once going it's a nice challenging course with beautiful scenary. Due to the course layout, it's also a good one for spectators to come and watch.
