In short: Nightmare, they promised road closures yet I ended up breathing fumes behind an Audi TT for 3/4 of a mile ! The organisers should have done more !
In full: If I wanted to run in traffic and dodge little old ladies in clio's I'd have run around London not paid to enter an event. The race promised road closures yet I saw no evidence of that. I understand that in the town this is impractical but this was the case from the 1st mile to the last. Marshalls were good but not enough to make up for the poor organisation.

In short: Great event, loads of support
In full: Great race with loads of support along the entire route. Some great scenery, I had no idea Watford had such picturesque places. My only complaint would be, like many other have said, the pre-race facilities and the ambiguous start lines.

In short: Great route shame about the atmosphere
In full: I'm surprised everyone keeps saying the atmoshphere was great. I thought it was terrible. It seemed to me that if people in the crowd didn't know you then they couldn't be bothered to provide a measure of support. I ran Bristol last year and the crowds were out in their thousands to support every runner there. Agree with everyone about the end though, a bit of a shambles. Having said all it was a great course and I will run again next year. Lets hope the people of Cardiff are in a better mood then.

In short: Excellent day all round although energy drinks would have been ideal.
