In short: Fab marshalls and great scenery
In full: Couple of climbs on the way back in I wasn't prepared for but a great route with loads of support. Really friendly race managed to sort of chat in between gasps on the way round.

In short: Nice course with a few hils in to challenge you a bit
In full: Great course. Good support on the way round even though it was raining. Possible for a PB with the downhill and flat stretches to make up for the hills.

In short: Really lovely run if you are not after a PB
In full: Great day out, fantastic organisation, cheerful & encouraging marshalls. Not as flat and downhill at the start as I thought and the hill from about 7k was an absolute killer. Will definately be back to do it again though.

In short: Great run on a really nice course. Well organised and the whole family welcome
In full: I think the course takes you on pretty much every surface except sand so quite a challange if you have only done road running. Really nice run and enjoyed every minute. Really friendly atmosphere or maybe I just waffle and people are too polite to tell me to shut up. Will definately be back next year.

In short: Absolutely Fabulous!
In full: First time this year and nothing could have prepared me for the atmosphere, the crowds, the distance, the emotional rollercoaster, that amazing feeling when you cross that finish line. I run the best I have probably run in my life and enjoyed it even through the pain.
Even get to slide down the stairs on my bum today as I can't move my legs properly yet! Great fun!!!

In short: Lovely course if it is not too windy. Lots of friendly marshalls & drink stations
In full: Had a great race even though I have now had a free face lift courtesy of the windy conditions. Got a PB of 1:55 which beat my previous time by 7 minutes. The marshalls and other spectators were fab standing around in the freezing cold supporting us. Big thanks to them. Look forward to doing it next year.

In short: Great challenge for a first race
In full: The start was a bit messy & not much space to settle in pace. Lovely route but the hills nearly finished me off. Will definately be back for more next year.
