In short: The best Hellrunner so far In full: Despite getting stuck in traffic and missing the start (small grumble at the poor signage), this year's race was brilliant. This is my third Hellrunner and, without a doubt the BEST ever. I was expecting the water, bogs and sand but those vindictive little **** stepped it up a gear this year. Well done lads. Whoever designs the course deserves a medal. Keep challenging us! Date of review: December 4, 2008

In short: Well worth doing. Great PB potential. In full: I heard lots of people moaning about this race re. lack of water stations, badly positioned km markers, angry drivers etc. Sure, all this happened but I still managed to get my PB (by over 3 mins) which I've been trying to do for a whole year. I'd definitely recommend it to others. It was quite refeshing to turn up to a race and just run rather than have to negotiate all the merchandising and commercialism of races organised by the big brands. Date of review: March 20, 2007

In short: Muddy and fun In full: Hellrunner strikes back! Just as muddy and fun as last year. This has to be the best race of the year. Date of review: November 19, 2006

In short: The best race I've done so far. In full: This is my first taste of adventure running in the UK. Not as tough as the alpine slopes of Norway but only the Brits could throw themselves into bogs and wetlands with some much humour. Bring on next year! Date of review: November 21, 2005
