In short: Good, enjoyable race and well organised, but mis-named- it was not in Dover, it was in Deal and no white cliffs!

In short: great uplifting scenery, fantastic, killing hills, but not enough water on the route
In full: It was an unseasonally hot day, and running up through the low-lying mist was glorious. The hills were as dastardly as advertised, but i felt that four water stations on a 20-mile route were not really enough and there was one 6-mile stretch between stations which is too long with all those hills. Marshalls were great, as always, but could have done with someone at the top of the final zig-zag down to the finish as when you're that tired, you can't remember where you came up!

In short: great race, and scenery, very friendly, shame about the queue to get your medal!
In full: Well signposted, lots of drink stops, fantastic route - exciting and different all the way and snap finish - turn a corner and you're there. BUT - on finishing we had to wait half an hour in a queue in the school gym to get medal/t-shirt- just when all you want to do is lie down, stretch, have a cup of tea, - anything but wait in a queue for half an hour - was almost tempted to go home without medal. Please find a better way!

In short: Great tough course, but need more than water for a 20-miler.
In full: Not great directions to the start for out-of-towners. Really good surface to run on.

In short: Great scenery, pity about the traffic on the A31
In full: Enjoyed the challenge of running up the hill, although the hill was a bit too soon in the race and I found it difficult at first as I was not properly warmed up - the second half of the hill was better, but then the traffic was a nightmare. Great to get to the top and see the views, and a fast second half of the course - great.
