In short: decent enough - but not good value
In full: This was ok, river path bit was nice enough, but the inward path section was pretty bad, what with the state of the paths and lack of road closures. I got lost trying to find the car park, so ended up in the first one in found and though the start area was pretty confusing as well. A few signs to tell you where to go would be helpful. I don't generally carry a street map with me on race days. I would agree that the cost is high. Either boost up the goodie bag or close the roads. having the staggered starts helps with conjestion.

In short: Good for a first time event
In full: Though this was good, except for the delayed start. Plenty of water and food, cheery marshalls, nice medal and a couple of useful items in the goodie bag. agree that the last 2 miles were a bit tough. maybe do it in the opposite way next time, so the "dull, oh my god have i still got that far to run" airfield isn't at the end, and there is a decent distance of wide airfield for the field to spread out at the start, before they hit the roads.

In short: Woah
In full: Tough, but perfect. Yes there are hills, but you do come down them, unfortunately I don't have the same "no fear" of dying, as the winner. Yes it costs a bit but, this is by far the best goody bag I’ve had, London aside (but thats all corporate sponsorship). The carrot made it for me;-). And good to hear the national anthem without some ponced up opera singer drowning out those who want to sing it. Top Top race, Well done to ALL involved

In short: can we have it May every year?
In full: ok so it was hot, but the course is so much nicer for having leaves on the trees. Half the numbers made it a very pleasent experience.

In short: well organised and fab medal!
In full: best lookin medal i've got, friendly and excellent marshalls. I didn't really like "racing" on what I thought were pretty busy roads, but I guess you can't help the area aroun your club. Other than that, as others have said, well organised and well worth a punt. Thanks

In short: Good for me
In full: Everything seems to work to me. reading provides a Pb for me every year. Start seemed to have far less runners starting in the "wrong" place than previous years. Failed to see any mile markers between 3 and 10 miles, can we have the lines across the road like before? Finally, appalled at the wastage of drinks and food.

In short: good well organised race, shame about the baggage tent!
In full: Good race, fast course with v good crowds. Only gripe was the baggage tent, One entrance for bags 1-7000 was crazy. Need to open up the whole of one side of the marquee, and let people queue for their appropiate number slots, as you if they were using lorries, like they used to.
Ok another gripe, the goodie bag was a bit light weight and lacking in stuff you could use straight after the race. (the wife liked the soup though!). This said the race is a good one.

In short: Great race, great organisation, but where's the medal?
In full: Lovely race, if somewhat hard on the knees. Everything spot on, but I think completing a half is worthy of a medal, rather than a t-shirt.

In short: Nice race, spoiled by having to pass the fun race runner in the first few miles
In full: nice race, and if you can run the hill ok, is a pb potential. Got very frustrated having to weave past what appeared to be the fun run competitors inthe first few miles

In short: good fun, hopefully back next year to get proper wet and muddy.
In full: Small nice race in wooded surroundings, a fair few short sharp hills. No toilets, but plenty of trees!
