In short: Excellent day!! Enjoyed (?) it!! Great organisation.
In full: My first full marathon - was dreading it, but made great by all the supportive marshalls. Agree lots of fluid / gels available. Feel sorry for the bods who have to pick up the litter! Felt a little anticlimax at the end, though I was v tired! Would appreciate more music etc along the route - remember the church singing to us for a short while! Overall a very enjoyable(ish)experience - my r leg won't work properly now!!

In short: Hot. Hot. Hot!! Delay made it hotter still.
In full: Could have done with some showers - think saw St John putting up what looked like inflatable unit - well after the first marathon finisher got in!! Felt sorry for the paramedics and first aiders, they must have seen a lot of action!! I felt the shivers after about 10 miles and thought I was perhaps going a little mad; thankfully I came across a water station, which kept me going (just). I wanted to walk at one stage, but managed to continue to run; though I'm sure I was passed by people walking!
