In short: Challenging as always. Chip timing and medal - good value!
In full: Have done this a number of times before and it gets better each year. Great organisation and good marshalling. Timing chip and medal this year. Challenging course. Great value. Well done to the organisers but no portaloos this year, tho' not a major problem.....

In short: My 3rd time and I'd run it again! Great all round and good value!
In full: Well organsed and marshalled. Great support and atmosphere. Plenty of drinks/sponge stations. Nice medal and T-shirt. Great value. I've run this three times and all being well I'll run it again. Better time than last year so well pleased - this made up for a terrible performance at Bath due to getting stuck behind hundreds of slower runners!

In short: Poor organisation yet again!! Disappointing medal!
In full: I echo most of the complaints from previous reveiwers. This is my local run, 4th time, and aspects of it get worse each year, though in fairness there were some improvements - loos, bag storage and exit at the finish!! However, I'm not sure I'll do it next year as I don't think I want to risk experiencing more of the organisers' inability to get fundamental aspects of the event correct!
Half an hour delay at the start - no excuse for that, plod has had a year to plan for it - unforgivable for the 2nd year in a row.
Pens - couldn't get to mine because of the crowds and lack of organisation so like others got stuck behind swarms of slower runners and spent miles trying to dodge them and make up time - dangerous, clearly alot of them had no idea how fast they could run anyway and should have been much further back! Wasn't expecting a good time this year but this made it alot worse....
Park and Ride - immense queues at both ends and poor organisation, especially leaving Bath.
Goody bag - some real curious stuff in there - I'd rather have a decent medal (very poor compared to previous years) than some of the rubbish like cranberry sauce and that awful concoction in the bottle!
If they're going to increase the numbers of runners they have to improve the organisation - from talking to other runners, it seems that the Bath Half is getting itself a real bad reputation when it should be one of the best after all these years!!

In short: Superb organisation. Challenging hills. Great to have chip timing!
In full: Missed this one last year. Glad I did it again even though my time was very poor compared to 2006. Superb organisation and marshalling. The announcer was great! Chip timing much appreciated. All it needs now is a finishers' medal!

In short: Good course, great support, weel orgainsed & good value
In full: Left home in the snow but good conditions in Taunton. Start was a little congested but chip timimg helped. Good facilities in the college - 10 mins before start and no waiting at the loos!! Well organised and marshalled. Great crowd support. Well organised at the finish too(unlike Bath!!) - nice medal and T-shirt - great value. Slightly different course since I did this in 2006. Had hoped for a pb but was 1 minute slower. However, I was 7 minutes faster than in 2006. All in all a good event!

In short: 1 hour delay at start very poor! Organisation at end terrible!
In full: A one hour delay at the start without an adequate explanation or apology was more than a little annoying. Distribution of foil blankets, drinks, goody bag and T-shirt was disgraceful, quite the worst I've encountered. Clearly they had totally inadequate organisation for the increased number of runners this year. Provision for wet weather was non-existant! If it hadn't been for the crowd support and a unexpected pb, the event would have been a huge disappointment. I hope the organisers will learn from this year's fiasco!

In short: Fast flat course, Easter egg, T-shirt and pb.
In full: 3rd time I've run in this well organised event. Good value. Great T-shirt was an unexpected extra. Fast relatively flat course produced a new pb for me so well pleased.

In short: Well organised. Good race. New pb so well pleased!
In full: 2nd time I've done this half. On the whole organisation was good. More toilets needed. Baggage collection could have been better. Good course and great support. New pb for me after recovering from injury so well pleased.
Would definitely run it again.

In short: Well organised. Challenging in places. Excellent medal!
In full: The gales and driving rain made the hilly course challenging, and in places it seemed more like a "cross-country" course! I don't think my running shoes will ever be the same!! I really enjoyed it though and was glad to do my bit to support the school. The quality medal at the end was very much appreciated. I hope I'll be there next year. Well done to all those who helped make it a memorable event, but could we have drier weather next year please!!

In short: Good race, perfect weather conditions, challenging hills!
In full: 2nd year I've run this race and the hills don't get any easier! More people than last year and better organisation, not that it was bad last year. Gel and Lucozade was a good addition this year. Over 6 mins quicker than last year tho' a real challenging course for a pb. Would definitely run this one again!
