In short: One of the best organised races around.
In full: Congratulations Newbury AC! The race was so well organised. Sponges were great. But an earlier start would be better. The hills were really challenging.

In short: Where did my £29.40 go?
In full: I feel that the organisation was exceedingly dubious. Rubbish t-shirt and unsafe water stations! The finish line was unclear...was there any results taken? No chip timings...so not sure that it was worth the entry fee.

Music was good and inspiring, some scenery was great but looping back on yourself constantly and going through mundane tunnels did not make for a mind-set!

In short: A great day out!
In full: Thank you to all the organisers for such a fabulous race! I really enjoyed the whole race! Great goody bag and nice t-shirt! I also indulged and had a free massage before and after the race! The course had a variety of town and rural to keep you interested! I could find no fault and all for a fiver!

In short: Undulating? I would have said hilly!
In full: The first four km was uphill! Agony. Just as you got a good pace on another hill would crop up!

A marshall sent me the wrong way and that cost me at least five minutes and a PB!

certainly not an enjoyable experience!

In short: A great day out for runners, supporters and families alike!
In full: A bit of a problem with traffic near the garden centre and 8km mark!

Very hot! Needed more water stops and maybe some sponges!

Otherwise fabulous!

In short: Poor organisation
In full: I am concerned as the organisers say that they want 25 000 runners on their big anniversary! They can hardly cope with the 12 000 they had yesterday! Double that - they must be joking! The start was a nightmare. There was no way that you even had the opportunity to get to your appropriate time start as the start was way too narrow and the sheer weight of traffic made it impossible. Who was that idiot on the tannoy? Get rid of him. The last thing you need when psyching yourself up for a race was some idiot who likes the sound of their own voice! The parking was crazy too. Getting out of the race at the end was anightmare and very dangerous for cars and people alike. I hope that improvements can be made as this was a great event otherwise!
