In short: Excellent Event!
In full: This is such an excellent event. The third time of the 40 mile for me. Excellent administration area, changing and shower area. Well stocked food stations and plenty of marshals. All smiling and very supportive spending a long time out on course making sure they look after the runners. Well done to the organisers, a great event for the 20 or 40mile. This year the sun was out and added to such a nice day. Great signs around the course with the added flour markings. What a day, recommended. Meal and technical shirt a bonus. Thank you - well done all.

In short: Thank you wolverhampton
In full: A good event for the price. A great start and finish point with plenty of entertainment. Loved the tannoy on the way in. Plenty of markers and water points. Helpers and St John did a great job. 2 lap marathons are not usually my thing but I can cope with Wolverhampton. A very twisty course and a fair few built up areas. Some long uphill drags so maybe not everyones ideal 2 lap marathon. Thank you everyone. I enjoyed the day and a bonus to have the showers after.
Finished in 3hr 24min much to my delight.

In short: Excellent event
In full: Ran the ultra and started at 9am. Slight bit of rain but it kept off the heavy stuff. A pre loop for the ultra before joining the marathon runners. Well stocked check points and friendly staff. Thank you to all the helpers. Very well organised and good signs, nice and clear for all events. Course was slightly hilly and a good mix of road and off road. Great start and finish point at the fire station and good use of the leisure centre facilities make this one of my all time favourites.
4hr 29 min finish for a 50k.
Thank you all.

In short: A well organised event
In full: This was the second marathon in wolves for me. An enjoyable event, very well organised and a great start/finish point. Plenty of toilets. Plenty of support from the locals. Water points spot on. Well done to all the helpers, st john and the air cadets.
It rained in the morning then cleared up for the marathon.
The course wasn't completely flat but still a challenge for all. Beginer friendly, chip times, medal, t-shirt and goody bag. Showers a short walk away. Well worth the trip.

In short: excellent event
In full: I really enjoy this event. It was my third one and the second ultra in salisbury for me. With various distances this is made for everyone. Great scenery, aid stations and organisation. A big thank you to all the helpers. Changing facilities great with use of the leisure centre. It would be good to see the fire service provide their own catering at the start/finish next year making more money for a good cause. Chip times also great. Thanks, Ben.

Great changing facilities, showers, and storage.
Excellent check point facilities. Plenty of supplies.
Well done all!

In short: Marathon in the Rain!!
In full: A different race. A mix of estates, parks, shops. Good organisation and plenty of drinks stations. A fair price to enter and a friendly start/finish area. A big thank you to all those that helped with the event it's just a shame about the rain! Still managed a 3hr 36min so still a fair time.

In full: Entered the 50k so a 8:45am start! Finished in 4hrs 42min. A very well organised event for a good cause. Plenty of friendly faces at the checkpoints. Plenty of quality checkpoints with food! Great map to go with the course and equally good sign posts. A fair few testing fields and hills. A good mix of road and off road. Excellent start and finish with use of the local leisure centre for showers. Well done to the fire brigade, the marshalls and st johns. Nice medal too. Will be back.

In short: Friendly race in the country
In full: Excellent location and a good course. Point to point racing with great well stocked checkpoints. Cakes, snacks and energy drinks. Enjoyed this one. Tricky in parts and Challenging with a bit of map reading needed. Rained heavy with thunder thrown in for good measure. Finished in over six and a half hours and made it around with help from a small group that I met on route - Jenny, Dan, Les and one other (Sorry I forgot your name). Well done to the organisors and help teams at the checkpoints. Excellent t-shirt and medal at the finish.
Thank you - Ben.

In full: A good fast course with some challenging twists and turns. Support was good, water stops, st john, marshals etc. Well sign posted. Great location as a start and finish with hot showers/cafe/parking. T-shirt was good, fair price to enter and for a good cause. Finished 90th and will be back.
