In short: good for spectators In full: I struggled desperately with the heat. Really disappointed that I resorted to walking. No problems with water supply, I think I drank too much because of the heat. Should be a really fast course - but without any downhill stretches my messed up mind told me I was going uphill?! Poor excuses from the organisers but plent of potential and plenty of good intentions. Date of review: September 18, 2005

In short: no organisation at the start In full: Turned up with my orange number, white numbers packed in that section like sardines. Come on, for the hefty entry fee you have to cater for everyone. Date of review: September 18, 2005

In short: My 1st GNR. Now I know the set up I'll do things different next year and I hope I enjoy it a lot more In full: Started between the 1h45 and 2h markers. Took 11 mins to get to the start and I was passing walkers before the underpass! Like that for the next 10/11 miles at which point I had just enough room to start enjoying the run.
