In short: Really enjoyable with fantastic support, especially the big round-the-corner Market Square finish. But more off-road than I'd expected, and no chance of a PB. Can't fault the organisation.

In short: Rain paused just long enough to get us round. Fast but still challenging. Great opportunity for a 'year's best'.

In short: First time I've done this one, even though I live locally: scared off by 'multi terrain'. Dry weather all week meant it was solid ground all the way round, and I came in well ahead of the time I predicted / feared. Faultless organisation, great fun.

In short: In better conditions, this would be a perfect event.
In full: A beautiful location, and marvellously organised event. Ultra-flat course, and the long lakeside straights let you see the km markers from quite a distance. (I found that helpful, others might not!) With chip timing and a T-shirt too? Best bargain ever.

Today's weather didn't help anyone: sleet / snow / hail, and a horrendous headwind after the turn at 5k. But the tents stayed up, as did people's moods. Just brilliant.

In short: Tougher than I remembered / expected, but you'll forgive anything for the stadium finish. Scraped a PB by 5 seconds, had hoped for better. Sorry for vomiting over the railings at the finish. (Er, twice.)

In short: First time at this one; good day out in ideal weather, ruined for me personally by an overambitious start. Three and a bit laps, plus plenty of car parking, makes it very spectator-friendly.

In short: Freezing conditions made it more difficult than previous years, but still surely one of the year's faster events. Shame about the medal at the end though. I'd be prepared to pay a higher entry fee for a better one.

In short: If there's a faster 10k in the country, I don't know it. Took 90 seconds off my previous PB. Still a buzz to be running at a world-famous sporting venue. No complaints worth mentioning; well worth the 100-mile round trip.

In short: An excellent event all round, with great support virtually the whole way, and a finish inside the Madejski Stadium which is truly memorable. Two hills of note, but long downhill sprints to compensate, making for a very quick course.
